Our Vacation, July 2008...

So... We're going on a vacation, a week long hiatus from reality. I'll blog about it after we've got some pics... :)

Naomi's Third Birthday (May 8th 2008)

Naomi's "Cars" Birthday party. She kept on saying, "Eat cake and wear hats!" That's what she wanted to do with her Birthday, May 8th 2008...

The "Cars" Cake that Aunti Jacki made for Naomi... It was a wonderful day. And good cake!

Here's the Birthday "Crew." Pictured are... Brent, Jaquelyn, Kristen, Grandma Uffelman, of course Naomi, and Grandpa Uffelman. Notice the hats! (and I think that's cake on Naomi's shirt... :) )

The entertainment was.. well, a little lackluster... Who is this wierdo?

By all accounts, everyone had a good time. Especially the one that wanted to eat cake and wear hats...

I guess I could put a little bit about my family here... Here are some pictures of Naomi and Micah...
As you can see, Naomi is really doing well. She's a "big girl" and enjoys playing with her stuffed "friends." Clifford is her favorite TV show, and her favorite toys include the "Little People" (daddy's influence, I'm sure...), her "Et" (a security blankET), and anyone she can get to tickle her.
Here's Micah. He enjoys dreuling, cooing, standing at the water table and splashing, and crawling all over the place and chewing on anything that he can find. I found him beginning to chew on my computer cable when I first started to blog this afternoon. Anyway, I caught it in time... :) (let the reader understand "right away.")

And finally, here are the two of them playing piano. You can imagine that little Micah will be walking before his first birthday. He's doing really well. Naomi and Micah generally get along, however there are times when he is doing something that she wants to do, or playing with one of her toys. Tense situations!

Well, I thought this would be a good idea...

Friends and family, one and all... This is a great way to keep in touch. Just wanted to let you know that we're going to be blogging all of our fun stuff that we do together as a family.

Naomi and Micah are doing really well. Kristen and I are doing well too. Anyway, get ready for some pictures...
